Cure Anxiety Attacks
Anxiety attacks are in fact Panic attacks. Some people use two different names for the same problem.
Can anxiety attacks be cured? Is there a solution?
Let me first tell you what you cannot do to cure anxiety attacks.
Many people try to find a miracle solution in pills, hypnosis, Chinese practices and other expensive therapies. Although they might give you some support, they won’t cure anxiety attacks; they will however dig a serious hole in your budget.
I was able to cure my anxiety attacks, after 14 years of suffering, by changing some of my ways. First of all I had to think in a different way.
Before, every time I had an anxiety attack, I would make it worse because I started to panic. I started to think things like “oh no, what’s happening to me, why am I feeling this…” and so on.
That never ever works and will make the anxiety attacks worse.
Part of my cure for anxiety attacks is that I started an internal dialogue when I felt anxious. Instead of increasing the fear I would actually reduce it. More about that later.
Then, the second part of my cure for anxiety attacks was that I had to find every little single cause of anxiety attacks. I mean, why was I having them?
Sure, my therapist kept talking about stuff that happened to me in the past, but who can change the past? I simply didn’t want to believe all the causes could be found in the past. I wanted control, I wanted to cure my anxiety attacks.
And that’s what I did. I started to focus on every possible cause of my anxiety and then took those causes away one by one.
So, to sum it up: I changed the way I reacted when I felt anxious AND I took all the causes away. That’s what did it.
