a Panic Attack
A panic attack can be devastating. I’ve seen panic attacks destroy people’s lives. Not because they died or anything, just because they could live their lives any longer because of the panic attacks.
These sounds negative, I’m well aware, but bear with me because I will give you solutions for your panic attacks in this article.
A panic attack can overcome all of us, but some people are more prone to panic attacks than others. I’ve personally had panic attacks for 14 years and by the end, I wouldn’t even leave my house. So it’s crucial that you deal with your panic attacks in a timely manner, before it gets worse. If you don’t do anything to cure your panic attacks, it will get worse.
Here’s what happens during a panic attack.
- you start to feel anxious and you sense it
- because you’ll have fear of the fear (you don’t want to have a panic attack, you’re afraid of the panic attack) you will actually increase the symptoms of that panic attack
- this will scare you even more. You might start to panic, you might start to look for an exit, call someone or do something else
This is a vicious circle you’ll go through with every panic attack you might have.
So how do you stop panic attacks? How do you overcome panic attacks?
There are no miracle solutions and you’ll need a multi-approach.
First you need to break through the vicious panic attack circle I just described. Then you need to PREVENT the panic attack altogether.
When you are having a panic attack, you will notice that your thoughts will be very negative. Everything looks bad and it feels as if you’re in a very dangerous situation. That’s what a panic attack is meant to make you feel. If you however change your thought process, it will be easy to stop the panic attack.
Preventing a panic attack is possible as well. In order to do that you’ll have to find the causes of your panic attacks. Why are you having them? First, let me tell you they are not hereditary, and you don’t need to look for the causes in the past. There are some simple things you are doing that are feeding your panic attacks.
